Record single-day spike of 40,425 COVID-19 cases in India

New Delhi: The number of corona virus patients in India is increasing rapidly. For the first time in the country, more than 40 thousand cases of corona virus have been reported. After this, the figure of infected patients has crossed 11 lakh. However, during this period, the number of patients recovering from the virus is also increasing rapidly. In the last 24 hours, 22,663 people have recovered.

More than 11 lakh corona cases:

According to data from the Union Health Ministry, 40,425 new cases of corona virus have been reported during the last 24 hours, while a record 681 people have died. The total number of corona virus cases in the country has increased to 11 lakh 18 thousand 43. Out of this, 7 lakh 87 patients have been completely cured and the number of active patients has been reduced to 3 lakh 90 thousand 459. So far, more than 27 thousand people have lost their lives.
