India’s one inch land can’t be occupied:
Recently what happened between troops of India and China at PP14, how some of our personnel sacrificed their lives protecting our border. I am happy to meet you all but also saddened because of their loss. I pay my tributes to them: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh
The Defense Minister said that negotiations are going on to resolve the deadline dispute. The matter should be resolved, but I cannot give any guarantee as to how far it will be resolved. I want to assure you that even one inch of India’s land can be taken away by any power of the world.
Two day visit of Rajnath Singh:
Para commandos were sent to Ladakh only after the conflict between India and China began. In view of the state of war, these para commandos were deployed in high-altitude areas such as Galvan Valley, Pangong Lake and Daulat Beg Oldi. Para commandos have been deployed to carry out operations in enemy territory.
Before leaving for the two-day visit, Rajnath Singh said that he was going to review the situation on the borders and interact with the armed forces personnel deployed in the area. Rajnath Singh will reach Lukung Post near Pangong Lake in the morning. Then Leh will talk to Air Force personnel at the airport and leave for Srinagar at 11.30 am.
