There was a boil of anger across the country after the Pulwama attack. There was the same noise everywhere - it is necessary to avenge the sacrifice of our martyrs. It was a boil of anger in the country and on the other side the countrymen were also inconsolable. Final tributes were paid to heroic sons in different states of the country. But exactly 12 days later, India avenged this terrorist attack.

Revenge within just 12 days

India took an airstrike at the Jaish terror base in Balakot, Pakistan within 12 days to avenge the Pulwama terror attack. This airstrike was being planned since the Pulwama attack. India underwent a surgical strike after the Uri attack a few years ago. But this time India made a plan for Airstrike. Prime Minister Modi gave the responsibility of this entire plan to NNSA Ajit Doval. The then Air Force Chief BS Dhanoa, along with Doval, prepared the blueprint for the attack. It was decided that the terrorist hideout of Jaish in Balakot in Pakistan would be targeted.

The Air Force played an important role in Balakot Airstrike. India had decided which place to target it. Once the location was determined, agencies began to extract input on the attack. RAW and IB began to accurately locate Jaish's hideouts. Along with this, the army was also put on alert. Army personnel were on alert in the area near LOC.
