Pulwama Encounter: 3 militants killed by Security Forces

Security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Tral area of Pulwama district late Tuesday night following information about presence of militants there, a police official said.

Srinagar: At least three militants were killed in an encounter with security forces in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, police officials said on Wednesday.

According to reports the three were identified as Jehangir Rafiq Wani, Raja Umer Maqbool Bhat and Uzair Ahmed Bhat. The module which was earlier with HM had recently joined Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind ( AGuH).

Security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Tral area of Pulwama district late Tuesday night following information about presence of militants there, a police official said.

Terrorist Attack on Security Forces:

Terrorists attacked on security forces in mid night. Security Forces fired in the reply and killed all three terrorists. This attack happened in Traal area of Pulwama. Terrorits were recovered with weapons and explosive items with them.

The search operation has been started after this attack in Pulwama.

He said during searches, an encounter broke out between militants and security forces.

Three unidentified militants were killed in the gunfight, the official said adding more details were awaited.

Explosives and weapons recovered:

In the case, Inspector General of Jammu and Kashmir Police Vijay Kumar said that three bodies have been found, which are being identified. Weapons and explosive items werte also recovered from them.

Significantly, On the time of Shivratri, the security system of the valley has been strengthened. At the same time, US President Donald Trump will also come to India. In view of all this, the terrorists were plotting a big attack in India.

It was also revealed by quoting sources that the ISI has formed a new group with all terrorist organizations, which is being led by Jaish-e-Mohammed.
