New Delhi: The lockdown period has been extended across the country till 3 May to prevent the spread of the corona virus. During this time all kinds of transportation and traffic have been kept closed but it is believed that flights and metro can be started soon. So if you also travel by air and Metro then this is important news for you. Because now for traveling, passengers will have to change old habits.

Thermal Screening before entry:

After the lockdown is over, thermal screening of passengers will be done before entry into Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) and Delhi's Lifeline Metro and it will be mandatory for passengers to wear masks.

New Plan of CISF :

The CISF(Central Industrial Security Force) deployed in the security of the airport and metro has prepared a plan for this. Under this, social distancing and other measures will also be taken care of to avoid corona. Actually, the second phase of the lockdown is scheduled to end on 3 May. In such a situation, it is being said that after the lockdown is over, air service and metro service can be started.

After the lockdown is over, the CISF has formulated a special strategy for the operation of flights at the airport and the operation of trains at metro stations. CISF spokesman Hemendra Singh said that special arrangements will be made at the airport after the end of the lockdown.

Masks, Gloves and Sanitization:

The security personnel deployed at the airport will be equipped with masks, gloves and special equipment, but it will be mandatory for passengers to wear masks during the journey. Otherwise they will not get an entry in the airport. At the same time, PPE kits will also be made available to the security personnel. Apart from this, it will be mandatory for the passengers of the metro to apply masks.
