New Delhi: PM Modi will send the next installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme to the farmers' account today at 12 o'clock. Under this, Rs 18000 crore will be sent to the account of 9 crore farmers. This will be the 7th installment of PM Kisan Yojana.

Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme:

Apart from this, keeping in mind the farmer movement, PM Modi is going to have a virtual discussion with millions of farmers from 6 states of the country.

During this event organized through video conference, Modi will also interact with farmers from six states and share his experiences about Kisan Samman Nidhi and other initiatives taken by the government for the welfare of farmers. On this occasion, the Prime Minister will transfer more than Rs 18 thousand crore to the accounts of more than nine crore beneficiary farmer families.

Through the PM Kisan Yojana, the Modi government of the Center deposits an installment of Rs 2,000. In every four months in the accounts of farmers. A total of 6 thousand rupees are sent to farmers accounts in a year. The scheme came into force on December 1, 2018. This money is directly transferred to the bank accounts of the farmers.

The BJP has decided this program at a time when farmers have been agitating against agricultural laws for the past several weeks on various borders of Delhi. They are adamant on repealing these laws while the government has rejected this demand outright.

Direct money transfer to farmers' account:

This program is happening on the birth anniversary of former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Since 2014, BJP celebrates this day as 'Good Governance Day'. The National General Secretary of the BJP said that on the occasion of 'Good Governance Day', Prime Minister Modi will transfer the amount to the bank accounts of the farmers of the country under the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. On this occasion, BJP leaders and farmers across the country will participate in different programs.
