Modi Cabinet renames MHRD as 'Ministry of Education'

The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) has been renamed in the Modi cabinet meeting, after which the ministry has been renamed as Ministry of Education.

New Delhi: The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) has been renamed in the Modi cabinet meeting, after which the ministry has been renamed as Ministry of Education. Apart from this, a new education policy has also been approved by the Modi cabinet during the meeting. Detailed information related to this from the government will be given in the cabinet briefing to be held at 4 pm.

Modi Cabinet approved the proposal:

Explain that the Ministry of Human Resource Development had proposed to change the current name of the Ministry to Ministry of Education. Modi Government approved this propsal. Along with this, the cabinet has also approved the new education policy. After which now there will be only one regulatory body for the entire higher education sector. So that the disruption in the education sector can be ended.

The Ministry of Education has set up a single regulatory body National Higher Education Regulatory Authority (NHERA). Also known as Higher Education Commission of India for higher education. The Modi government believes that to make India a superpower of knowledge, there is a need to change education in a big way. For this, everyone should gain good education. In result we can create a progressive and dynamic society.

New Education Curriculum:

The emphasis of the Ministry of Education is to prepare a new National Curriculum Framework. So that the quality of education imparted at the primary level can improve. There is a plan to include 21st century skills, knowledge of different languages, topics related to sports, arts and environment in the course.
