Massive blast in Gujarat; Three consecutive explosions in ONGC Surat

Surat: A big accident took place in Gujarat today. There is a massive explosion at an Oil and Natural Gas Corporation plant here in Surat. After which the plant caught fire. Severe fires can be seen for many kilometers. As soon as the information was received, 12 fire engines reached the spot and started to control the fire.

Blast in ONGC, Surat:

The case is in Surat district of Gujarat, where the fire at the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), named Hazira Plant, occurred at around 3 pm on Wednesday-Thursday.

According to the information, 3 consecutive blasts took place at the ONGC Hazira plant, after which a massive fire started rising. All terminals closed as a precaution after the blast in ONGC Campus.

Three consecutive explosions:

There was chaos due to the incident. The police team, including officers, 12 fire engines arrived at the scene. The Collector of Surat, Dr. Dhawal Patel inspected the accident site. At present, no casualties reported yet. The people present on the occasion say that due to the explosion in the plant, the windows of their houses started shaking.

No casualities reported:

A statement by ONGC in this regard. It was said that a fire broke out at Hazira Gas Processing Plant in the morning. The fire controlled in ONGC Surat. No casualties or injuries reported yet. ONGC officials have continued the process of depressurizing the pressurized gas system. Officers are constantly engaged in gaining control of the fire.
