Laser guided anti tank:
The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) conducted two very special tests on Tuesday. In this, ABHYAS had a successful flight test first. Then a test of laser-guided anti-tank guided missile (AGTM) fired from MBT Arjun tank.
Armored Corps Center and School:
Then the missile hit the target exactly 3 kilometers away and destroyed it. The test of AGTM took place in the KK range of Armored Corps Center and School (ACC & S) in Ahmednagar. The country’s best achievement Defense minister has congratulated the entire DRDO team.
Let me tell you, this missile created under the Canon Launched Missile Development Program of the Armament Research and Development Establishment (ARDE). Related to Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO). Currently, it launched from Arjun Tank.
Specialities of Arjun Tank:
ATGM can be launched from several platforms. The ‘Arjun’ tank is used for the test.
Heat (High Speed Expandable Aerial Target) blows Explosive Reactive Armor (ERA) protected vehicles under the warhead.
Apart from this, this missile will be able to completely eliminate the future tanks as well as the future tanks.
The head of this missile is such that it gives the ability to engage the moving target.
Successful ATGM helicopters flying at low altitude could also knocked down.
