New Delhi: New cases of Coronavirus in India are increasing day by day. In the last 24 hours, about 17 thousand new cases of corona virus have been reported, although the number of patients recovering from disease has also increased during this period.

During this period more than 13 thousand people have become completely healthy and discharged from hospitals. There are a total of 4.73 lakh corona virus patients in the country, of which 1.86 lakh are active cases. At the same time, 14,894 people have died so far.

More than 16 Thousand cases in a day:

According to data given by the Union Health Ministry, the maximum 16,922 new cases of corona virus have been reported during the last 24 hours, while 418 people have died. The total number of corona virus cases in the country has increased to 4 lakh 73 thousand 105. Out of this, there are 1,86,514 active cases, so far 2,71,697 people have become healthy, while 14,894 people have died so far.

More than 2 Lakh sample tested inn last 24 hour:

According to ICMR, more than 75 lakh 60 thousand samples have been tested in the country so far and 2,07,1871 samples have been tested during the last 24 hours. ICMR has so far allowed 1,000 laboratories to test covid-19 in the country.

According to ICMR three lakh samples can be tested per day. Of the total 1,000 labs to be tested, 730 are government and 270 are from the private sector.

Corona Updates in India:

-Himachal Pradesh records 31 new COVID19 cases, tally rises to 807.

-Delhi has also overtaken Mumbai in cases of corona virus. During the last 24 hours, 3,788 new cases of virus were reported in Delhi.

Along with these cases, the total number of infected people reached 70,390, while Mumbai has 69,625 infection cases. However, Mumbai is ahead in terms of deaths.

In Mumbai, 3,962 people have died due to corona so far, while 2,365 people have died in Delhi.
