New Delhi: Demonstrations on the boundaries of Delhi continue today on the 51st day of farmers' organizations sitting in opposition to the Agricultural Law. Farmers are demanding repeal of agricultural laws. Meanwhile, the situation has become clear about the 9th round meeting between the farmers and the government. Today there will be a meeting between the farmers and the government.

The 9th round of talks today:

Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that the government is ready to hold talks with farmer leaders on January 15 with an open mind. He said positive discussions are expected in the ninth round of talks with farmers' organizations on Friday.

To end the peasant movement, it was decided in the eighth round of meeting between the government and farmers on January 8 that the next round of talks would be held on January 15.

Let us know that on January 12, the Supreme Court gave a decision regarding the farmers' movement and agricultural laws. In this judgment, the Supreme Court stayed the initiative of three new agricultural laws. Also, a committee of four members formed to end the deadlock.

8 rounds of talks were inconclusive:

Significantly, eight rounds of talks held between the government and farmer leaders. Both sides are adamant on their respective positions. Today is the ninth round meeting at 2 pm.

Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar had made it clear to the farmers that the government would not repeal agricultural laws. The farmers said that they will not end their protest till the government withdraws all the three laws.

Demonstration of farmers against agricultural laws continues. Today is the 51st day of the Kisan movement on the Delhi borders. Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said, "There will be a meeting between the government and farmer representatives at Vigyan Bhavan on January 15 at 12 noon."
