Coronavirus: After Maharashtra and Kerala, Cases increasing in Punjab

New Delhi: The government has once again become worried due to the increasing data of Coronavirus. Meanwhile, Punjab has become the third state where more than 1000 new cases are coming up in 2 months. Earlier, in Maharashtra and Kerala, 7 thousand cases were being reported in 7 months. On Thursday, 1074 new cases have been reported in Punjab.

65 Percent increase in Corona Cases:

Last week, 5022 new cases were reported in Punjab. During this period, a 65 percent increase was seen in cases, which was the highest increase recorded in the last three weeks outside of Maharashtra. At the same time, the number of new figures revealed on Thursday was the highest after 3 October.

Sudden spike in Maharashtra:

There has been a slight decrease in the number of new corona infects in Maharashtra on Thursday. Where on Wednesday, around 10 thousand new cases of corona were reported, on Thursday, 8,998 new cases of corona have come out. According to data from Maharashtra Health Department, 9,855 cases were reported in the state on Wednesday, while 1121 new corona cases were found in Mumbai.

On Thursday, 1104 Corona new patients have been found in Mumbai alone. So far, a total of 21 lakh 88 thousand 183 patients have been found in the state. In the same 24 hours, the death toll has risen to 60. So far 52,340 people have lost their lives due to this virus.

Talk about the total figures, in the last 24 hours more than 16 thousand new cases of corona have been reported, after which the total number has crossed 1 crore 11 lakh.

According to the data released by the Ministry of Health, in the last 24 hours 16 thousand 838 new cases have been reported while 113 people have died. Apart from this, 13 thousand 819 people have been properly discharged. After this, the total number of corona virus cases has reached 1,11,73,761, of which the number of active cases is 1,76,319 and 1,57,548 people have died. Apart from this, a total of 1,08,39,894 people have been discharged.
