New Delhi: The number of people infected with the corona virus in India is decreasing rapidly. New daily cases have reduced to 50 thousand. With these cases, the total infection cases in the country now stands at 76.97 lakh cases.

Corona cases at lowest graph:

This is the third consecutive day when daily cases have been reported below 60 thousand. The rate of patients recovering from corona patients has increased to 88.81 percent, while the death rate has come down to 1.51 percent.

54,044 new Corona cases:

According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am, during the last 24 hours, 54,044 new cases have been received and the total number of infected has reached 76 thousand 51 thousand 108.

During this period 61,775 patients have also been cured and the number of people who have recovered so far has increased to 67 lakh 95 thousand 103. There are 7,40,090 active cases in the country, which is 9.67 percent of the total cases. So far, one lakh 15 thousand 914 patients have lost their lives due to this Pandemic.

ICMR Report on Corona:

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research a total of more than 92.72 million samples tested across the country till 20 October. On Tuesday, 10 lakh 83 thousand 608 samples were tested. Corona cases in India crossed 20 lakh on 7 August, 30 lakh on 23 August, 40 lakh on 5 September. 50 lakh on 16 September, 60 lakh on 28 September and 70 lakh on 11 October.

There have been a total of 1,15,914 deaths due to this pandemic in the country, of which 42,453 in Maharashtra, 10,741 in Tamil Nadu, 10,608 in Karnataka, 6,714 in Uttar Pradesh, 6,481 in Andhra Pradesh, 6,180 in West Bengal, 6,081 in Delhi.
