Chinese actions reflect a disregard of our bilateral agreement: Rajnath Singh

The monsoon session of Parliament is in the midst of the ongoing Corona period in the country. In which, some issue is being debated and discussed. In such a situation, the defense minister of the country, Rajnath Singh, today gave his statement in the Rajya Sabha on the India-China border dispute.

In his statement, the Defense Minister said that India will not accept any change on the border and the morale of the soldiers is high. Rajnath said that our soldiers made the supreme sacrifice at LAC.

On the Indo-China dispute, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh today spoke loudly in the Upper House. Rajnath Singh today also admitted in the House that the conditions on LAC are challenging. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that the House is aware that the question of India and China border is still unresolved. China does not accept the customs and traditional alignment of the boundaries of India and China. This boundary line is based on well-established geographical principles.

The Defense Minister said that China believes that the boundary is still not formalized. It believes that the traditional customs line based on historical jurisdiction has a different interpretation of the two countries. It was being negotiated in the 1950-60s but no solution was found.

Due to which their deployment capacity has increased in the border area. In response, our government has also increased the budget for border infrastructure development, which has almost doubled already.
