A new Global Standard is also being decided: PM Modi on Education Policy

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed Vice Chancellors of Universities, Directors of Higher Educational Institutions and Prof of Colleges across the country today. Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Minister of State for Education Sanjay Dhotre and Chairman of the policy framing committee K Kasturirangan will also be present.

PM Modi on National Education Policy:

In his address, the Prime Minister said that whatever will have to be done to land it now, it will be done soon. The PM said that I am with you for all the help you need to implement this. It is necessary to keep in mind the goals of the country in education policy, so that the generation can be prepared for the future. This policy will lay the foundation for a new India. The PM said that to make India strong, good education is necessary to empower the citizens.

In his address, PM Modi said that the question before us was whether our policy gives the youth a chance to fulfill their dreams. Does our education system enable the youth.

This policy will make the student a global citizen:

These questions have been seriously worked on while framing the new education policy. Today a new system is coming up in the world, in such a situation a change in the education system is necessary. Now 10 + 2 has also been scrapped, we have to make the student a global citizen but keep them connected to their roots.

The Prime Minister said that the dialect of the home of the children and the language of learning in the school should be the same, so that the children will be easy to learn. Right now the children will get this facility till the fifth class.

Till now the education policy was moving forward with what to think, now we will emphasize to the people how to think. Today, children should get the chance that the child should focus on his course, if he does not feel like he can leave the course in between. Now students will be able to leave and join the course anytime.
