Madrid: An Easyjet flight EZY6895 which left Scotland for Palma in Spain on Sunday was forced to divert from Glasgow to Toulouse in France because of rowdy passengers.
- The budget airline said the flight was redirected to Toulouse in France due to the disruptive behaviour of a group of passengers.
- Passengers were escorted off the plane by police.
- The flight then continued to Palma. Passengers on the return leg to Glasgow were delayed overnight.
- As a result of the diversion the crew were unable to operate the return flight to Glasgow as it would exceed their legal operating hours.
- The flight was delayed overnight.
- Passengers were provided with accommodation and meals.
- EasyJet flight also apologised to passengers for inconvenience caused to them by the diversion.
