Pakistan has attacked many targets of Iran on Thursday in what is being perceived as a response to Iran’s missile strikes at several positions in Balochistan on Tuesday to destroy what the Iranian forces said terror bases of Jais-al-Adl.

Before these attacks, Pakistan had warned Tehran of serious consequences of the airstrike carried out in Baloch area yesterday. Pakistan has reportedly attacked the posts of Balochistan Liberation Front and Balochistan Liberation Army.

At the same time, Iran on Tuesday attacked the headquarters of Jaish al-Adl group in Pakistan with "missiles and drones", calling it "another decisive step taken by Iran in response to aggression against the security of our country."

Pakistan has struck targets in Iran, a day after warning of "consequences" over the attack on the Jaish al-Adl group headquarters, according to local media reports. Let us tell you that after Iran's attack, Pakistan had warned Tehran of facing serious consequences. Pakistan Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday, "Iran violated international law and the purposes and principles of the UN Charter by unnecessarily and flagrantly violating Pakistan's sovereignty. This illegal act is completely unacceptable and has no justification."

The Pakistan Foreign Ministry had said that Pakistan had the right to respond to this "illegal act". Whatever its consequences will be, Iran will be completely responsible for it. Now many targets of Iran have been attacked by Pakistan, this is being seen as a response to the attacks in Balochistan.

Pakistan’s strikes inside Iran is likely to further fuel tension in the already restive Middle East region where Israel and Hamas are locked in a fierce war following Hamas’ terror attacks inside Israel on October 7 last year. There are fears that the situation may spiral out of control.
