New Delhi: Seeing the rising graph of Corona, some countries of the world have started preparing for booster dose.

Britain, Brazil, Israel, Germany and the United Arab Emirates have decided to give their people booster doses of the vaccine amid the growing outbreak of the Delta variant.

Vaccine booster dose:

The Health Minister of Germany said that it has been decided to give a booster dose from September to the people of the age group who are more at risk from Corona.

Anyone who has been vaccinated with AstraZeneca or Johnson will be given the mRNA-based Pfizer and Moderna vaccine as a booster dose. Britain will also give a booster dose to its 32 million population from 6 September.

The Israeli government has also announced a booster dose for people over the age of 60. Similarly, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will use China-made Sinoform vaccine as a booster dose. It is known that Russia, France, and Cambodia are also giving booster doses to their people to protect them from infection.

Booster dose for senior citizens:

Other countries of the world are preparing for booster doses to avoid the virus. In India, a target has been set to vaccinate the adult population by the end of 2021.

AIIMS Director Dr. Randeep Guleria has said that a booster dose will be needed because after some time the effect of the vaccine starts decreasing or the level of antibodies is low. In such a situation, a booster dose is the only option to protect against infection.
