ATC challans four CMS vehicles following safety issues

Lucknow: The Additional Transport Commissioner on Friday challaned four vehicles of the Citi Montessori School (CMS), the largest school chain across India.

The vehicles were fined for not complying to the road safety guidelines. School management, however, made attempts to skip the police action.

It may be mentioned that the Uttar Pradesh Transport Commissioner had on Thursday directed the state police to run a checking drive to ensure safety of school kids.

Under the drive, strict orders were issued to police to keep a check over damaged vehicles, whhich are used for commuting school kids.

The directives were given in the wake of Etah school bus accident in which 14 people including 13 children were killed.
