Lucknow's Aairah to captain UP-UK Under-14 Tennis team in CISE National Games
Aairah, a class 8th student of La Martiniere Girls College, Lucknow has won the double title in the state-level championship of CISCE Games held at Agra. She has not only won the gold medal in the individual event but also helped her Lucknow zone team clinch the state title defeating teams from UP and Uttarakhand.
Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh's tennis player Aairah will represent Uttar Pradesh in the CISE National Games lawn tennis competition in the under-14 girls category.
Aairah, a class 8th student of La Martiniere Girls College, Lucknow has won the double title in the state-level championship of CISCE Games held at Agra. She has not only won the gold medal in the individual event but also helped her Lucknow zone team clinch the state title defeating teams from UP and Uttarakhand.
Aairah's brilliant play dominated Lucknow's victory. Aairah did not lose a single match in his entire tournament and stunned his opponents with his brilliant strokes
Due to her scintillating performance, she has also been made the captain of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand's Under 14 team. Apart from Aairah, Shanaya of Lucknow from Uttar Pradesh and Anusha of Prayagraj have also been selected for the team.
The National Games of ICSE Board, now the National Competition of Lawn Tennis will be held in Kolkata from October 10th to 14th 2023, where players from schools of ICSE Board across the country will participate.
