Port of Spain: The final Test match of the four-match series between India and West Indies is going towards a draw as the second day has been washed out due to rain at the Queen’s Park Oval stadium in Port of Spain, Trindad.

Rain had also spoiled the first day’s game with hosts scoring 62/2 in 22 overs.

After electing to bat first on Day 1, Windies batsmen lost early wickets in the form of opener Leon Johnson (9) and Darren Bravo (10). A disciplined Indian attack maintained decent line and length before rains played spoil-sport. Pacer Ishant Sharma and spinner R Ashwin bagged one wicket each.

Leading the series with 2-0, India will look for yet another win to be placed on the top of the Test ranking table.

Losing patience with inconsistent Shikhar Dhawan, the Indian Cricket team management brought in Murali Vijay as other opener with in-form Lokesh Rahul while left arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja makes way for solid Cheteshwar Pujara.
