The Indian men’s basketball team is finally heading back home after being stuck in Doha for nearly ten days. From Dammam, the Indian contingent split into two groups due to restricted seat availability on flights. One group travelled from Dammam to Jeddah and then continued onward to Mumbai.

The second group boarded a direct flight from Dammam to Lucknow. According to the federation, the Mumbai group landed shortly after midnight while the Lucknow group arrived early in the morning.

It was a long journey, but at least the players were finally heading home after days of uncertainty.
