Corona Updates: India reports 16,577 new cases in last 24 hours

According to the data of the ministry, the total number of people who get healthy from infection is 10 million 50 thousand 6 hundred 80.

New Delhi: In the last 24 hours in India, 16,577 new cases were reported and 120 people died. After the data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Friday. The total number of infected people in the country has gone up to 10 million 63 thousand 4 hundred 91.

Rise in Active Corona Cases:

Earlier on Wednesday and Thursday, due to the way in which infection cases were reported, the possibility of corona virus infection again increased. Today there is a slight increase in new cases compared to yesterday.

According to the data of the ministry, the total number of people who get healthy from infection is 10 million 50 thousand 6 hundred 80. So far, one lakh 56 thousand 8 hundred 25 people have died due to infection of this epidemic and currently the number of active cases in the country is 1 lakh 55 thousand 9 hundred 86. In the last one month, less than 15 thousand cases were coming in India and the number of deaths is not going beyond 200 figures.

90% new cases in Maharashtra:

The Center on Thursday informed that 90 percent of the new cases are from Maharashtra, Kerala, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Chhattisgarh. The Health Ministry had said that people who are more than 60 years of age or more than 45 years and have some disease.

Vaccination work will be started for them from 1 March. Let us know that Covid-19 vaccination started in the country from January 16 and so far a total of 1 crore 34 lakh 72 thousand 6 hundred 43 people have been given the vaccine dose. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 21 crore 46 lakh 61 thousand 4 hundred 65 sample tests have been done for Corona virus till date in India, out of which 8,31,807 samples were tested yesterday.
