BHARAT BANDH LIVE

Traders strike against GST:

Wholesale and retail markets will remain completely closed. But shops selling essential commodities have not been included in the shutdown. Shops catering to the needs of the people in residential colonies will also remain closed. Most traders say that there will be no significant impact on the transportation system. Only business activities are likely to be affected.

Transporters to protest against Fuel Price Hike:

However, AITWA's protest is about the rising fuel prices and the e-way bill. AITWA national president Mahendra Arya said that all the state level transport associations will fully cooperate in the ODI bandh. AITWA's performance will be against the rise in fuel prices and the e-way bill. According to Mahendra Arya, all transport companies have been asked to stop serving their vehicles from 6 am to 8 pm. All transport warehouses will put up the Protest Banner here.
