Plan Your Banking Work
Due to the high number of holidays in August, it’s recommended that customers make a list of their banking needs in advance:
Cash Transactions: If you need to make large payments or cash withdrawals, do it early in the month.
Cheque Clearing & Drafts: Deposit and clear cheques or demand drafts well in advance.
Bank Branch Visits: Any work requiring a physical visit to a bank should be completed before the holidays.
The good news is that digital banking services like mobile banking, internet banking, UPI, and ATMs will continue to operate normally. However, ATM cash availability may be affected during long festive breaks, so plan your cash needs early.
Before visiting any bank branch, be sure to check the holiday list applicable to your state. You can confirm holiday details on your bank’s official website or by contacting your nearest branch.
