When asked if there was any trouble learning the language, he said, "I find languages easy. I pick up languages quickly. I did a Telugu film... I did 'Rakhta Charitra' in Hindi and Telugu and it was very comfortable and now doing Tamil film is also fun. I loved working with Ajith Kumar."Directed by Siva, Vivegam also features Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan.

Speaking about the film, Vivek said, "It's an international spy thriller kind of film. If I had to compare the space it is like the space of the 'Bourne' series like 'The Bourne Ultimatum'... That space. It's a very cool film and I had a lot of fun doing it."
