Hungama 2: Shilpa Shetty is coming back on Big Screen, Release date out!

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has returned to films after a long gap, but Shilpa's film will be released on the OTT platform instead of theatres. The film is Hungama 2, directed by Priyadarshan. Hungama 2 will release on Disney Plus Hotstar VIP. Hungama 2 will be streamed on Disney Plus Hotstar VIP on July 23, the platform announced on Wednesday.

Hungama 2 release:

Hungama 2 is the sequel to Priyadarshan's comedy film Hungama, which released in 2003. Hungama starred Paresh Rawal, Akshaye Khanna, Shoma Anand, Rimi Sen and Aftab Shivdasani in lead roles, while Rajpal Yadav, Manoj Joshi, Upasana Singh, Shakti Kapoor and Tiku Talsania played supporting roles.

Shilpa Shetty to come back on Big screen:

Hungama 2 has a new cast except Paresh Rawal, Tiku Talsania, Manoj Joshi and Rajpal Yadav. Apart from Paresh Rawal and Shilpa Shetty, Meezaan Jaffrey (Javed Jaffrey son), Praneeta Subhash, Ashutosh Rana, Johnny Lever will be seen in supporting roles. There is also news of Akshay Khanna doing a cameo.

Shilpa Shetty has become a part of the main star cast of a film after a very long gap. Shilpa was last seen in the 2007 film Apne. After this, Shilpa did one song each in Dostana in 2008 and again in Dishkiyaoon in 2014. Dishkiyaon was also produced by Shilpa. Although Shilpa was absent from the big screen, she did not disappear.

She has been regularly seen as a judge in reality shows on the small screen. She has been judging the dance reality show Super Dancer since 2016. In 2018, she appeared in the web series Here Me Love Me on Prime. Apart from this, Shilpa is very active in social media and remains connected with the fans. Shilpa's another film Nikamma is also ready for release, in which Abhimanyu Dassani and Shirley Setia will be seen with her.
