The yuva sathi form is officially open from 15 February 2026 in West Bengal. Applications will be accepted until 26 February 2026. Eligible unemployed youth will receive ₹1,500 per month through Direct Benefit Transfer starting 1 April 2026. The yuva sathi form must be submitted physically at special registration camps. Missing the deadline means losing the benefit.

Application Dates You Cannot Ignore

The yuva sathi form window is short. It starts on 15 February 2026 and closes on 26 February 2026. There is no online submission option this time. Every yuva sathi form has to be deposited at designated camps.

Registration camps are being held in all 294 Assembly constituencies across the state. Camps operate daily from 10 AM to 5 PM. If you are planning to apply, do not wait till the last day. Crowds are expected.

The yuva sathi form sample can be downloaded from the West Bengal Sports and Youth Affairs Department website, but submission remains offline only.

Who Is Eligible for Yuva Sathi Form

Not everyone can fill the yuva sathi form. There are clear rules.

The applicant must be between 21 and 40 years of age. He or she must have passed at least the Madhyamik examination. Permanent residency in West Bengal is compulsory.

The yuva sathi form is strictly for unemployed youth. If someone is already receiving benefits from major state welfare schemes, they may not qualify. However, scholarships like Aikyashree or Medhashree are allowed.

If details are incorrect, the yuva sathi form may get rejected. So double-check before submission.

Documents Required for Submission

Proper documents are necessary while submitting the yuva sathi form. A recent passport-size photograph must be attached. Identity proof and residency proof are required.

The applicant must provide the Madhyamik certificate or marksheet. A bank passbook with Aadhaar-linked account details is mandatory because payment will be made through DBT.

A self-declaration form, known as Annexure-I, confirming unemployment status must also be attached with the yuva sathi form. Missing even one document can delay approval.

How Much Money Will You Get

Under the scheme, approved applicants will receive ₹1,500 per month. The payment under the yuva sathi form scheme will begin from 1 April 2026.

The money will directly go to the applicant’s Aadhaar-linked bank account. There will be no middle agents. No manual payment. Everything through DBT.

This support aims to help educated but unemployed youth manage daily expenses while they search for jobs.

Why This Scheme Matters

Many young people in West Bengal have completed studies but are still searching for stable employment. The yuva sathi form scheme gives financial breathing space.

₹1,500 may not seem huge, but it can help with travel, exam fees, and skill courses. Sometimes small support changes confidence levels.

The yuva sathi form also encourages official registration of unemployed youth. That data can shape future employment programs.

Important Reminder Before You Apply

Carry original documents along with photocopies when visiting the camp. Reach early to avoid long queues. Fill the yuva sathi form carefully, without overwriting or mistakes.

If you meet the criteria, do not delay. The deadline is fixed at 26 February 2026. Once closed, new applications will not be accepted.

The yuva sathi form is a limited-time opportunity. If eligible, submit it properly and on time. Financial help will begin from April. Sometimes acting early makes all the difference.
