NBEMS (PC- Social Media)

The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released a new advisory for NEET PG 2025 candidates about seat reporting, joining procedures, and mandatory fee payment. All candidates allotted seats under the All India Quota through MCC counselling must follow the updated reporting rules and complete their joining process through the NBEMS online portal. It’s also compulsory to pay the first-year annual course fee directly to NBEMS via their official payment portal before joining the course.

NEET PG 2025 Candidates Must Follow New Reporting Guidelines

NBEMS has asked all hospitals accredited by it to strictly follow the MCC counselling schedule and instructions. Every hospital and candidate must refer to the notices, bulletins, and updates available at https://mcc.nic.in before starting the joining process.

During reporting, hospitals will verify all original documents of the candidate. This step ensures eligibility and prevents seat misuse. NBEMS also mentioned that only candidates found medically fit after the hospital’s medical board examination will be allowed to join the postgraduate course.

Mandatory Fee Payment Through NBEMS Portal

Candidates must pay their first-year annual course fee through NBEMS’s official payment link — https://cns.natboard.edu.in/CandRv1/seatMatrix/index.php. This payment confirms their seat and reporting status. Hospitals are required to cross-verify fee receipts before accepting the joining form of any candidate.

NBEMS clarified that any failure to pay the course fee within the given time can result in seat cancellation or carry-forward of the seat to the next round of counselling. This makes the online fee submission a critical step in the admission process.

Hospitals Must Update Reporting Status on Time

Every NBEMS-accredited hospital must update the reporting and joining status of all candidates through the Intra-MCC portal within the time limit set by MCC. Missing this deadline could lead to cancellation of the seat or its reallocation in the next round.

Institutes are also instructed to review seat availability before each counselling round. This ensures transparency and avoids excess allotment, which often causes confusion for candidates and institutions alike.

Training Schedule and Reporting Deadlines

Candidates must report and join their allotted training institutions within the prescribed window. NBEMS has clearly stated that no extensions will be given beyond the joining deadline. For those whose seats get upgraded later, their training period will be counted from the date of reporting at the upgraded institute. If not upgraded, the training will begin from the date the candidate joins as a resident doctor at the initial hospital.

Special Advisory for In-Service Doctors

Doctors employed under any government organization — whether central, state, railway, PSU, or ESI — must present a valid No Objection Certificate (NOC) and study leave approval from their employer before joining the NBEMS course. Without these documents, they will not be allowed to begin training.

NBEMS has also confirmed that the Online Portal for Joining and Registration (OPJR) will remain inactive until all counselling rounds conclude. This ensures that every reporting activity is done in a controlled, verified phase.

A Step Toward Transparency and Discipline

The new advisory by NBEMS aims to make the NEET PG 2025 joining process more organized and transparent. With strict rules for reporting, fee payment, and medical checks, both hospitals and candidates are expected to maintain discipline throughout the admission period.

The guidelines also help reduce last-minute confusion and ensure that every seat is allotted and utilized properly. For thousands of NEET PG aspirants across India, this advisory marks the beginning of a more structured and fair admission season under NBEMS supervision.
