Adani Group to build an airport in Nepal and will invest in energy sector and airport management

After managing Mumbai International Airport, now Adani Group is going to build an airport in Nepal. Adani Group will also look after the management of the airport. Nepal's Finance Minister Ram Sharan Mahat gave this information on Wednesday. He told that Adani Group will invest in many public sectors in Nepal including airports and energy sector.

Nepal's Finance Minister Ram Sharan Mahat has recently returned to Kathmandu after participating in the 'Vibrant Gujarat Summit'. During the summit, he met Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani. He said that Gautam Adani has offered to build a new airport in Nepal, especially near the India-Nepal border.

Along with this, Adani has shown interest in investing in the energy sector and taking over the management of Bhairava International Airport, Tribhuvan International Airport and other airports.

Nepal's Finance Minister said, “I also invited Gautam Adani to participate in the 'Nepal Invest Summit' to be held in April this year. He has committed that he will try his best to participate in the summit."

He said, "A team of Adani Group recently visited Kathmandu. The Adani team interacted with Pradeep Adhikari, Director General of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN). During this, the possibility of investment in Nepal's airport sector was discussed."
