India's focus on infrastructure, country's progress is in front of the whole world: Gautam Adani at Adani Group's AGM

Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani has said that India's focus is now on the infrastructure sector, and the country's progress is in front of the whole world. Addressing the annual general meeting (AGM) of Adani Group's flagship company Adani Enterprises, Gautam Adani said that in the last five years, the Government of India has tripled the expenditure on the infrastructure sector.

Gautam Adani said, "In the financial year 2025, the Government of India's spending on infrastructure will increase by 16 percent, and it will be ₹ 11 lakh crore... Anyway, in the last five years, the Government of India has tripled its spending on the infrastructure sector, which clearly shows that the Government of India's focus is on infrastructure..."

The Adani Group chairman said, "India's progress is now being watched by the whole world..." He said, "India is no longer standing at the crossroads of fate... we are standing on the verge of our biggest development phase... our best performance is yet to come and we will do it..."

Gautam Adani expressed the group's commitment to progress in the infrastructure sector and also gave information about the green energy project located in Khavda. He said, "We are also with the government... Khavda Green Energy Project will generate 3,000 MW of renewable energy..."

According to the Adani Group Chairman, "Khavda, one of the world's most inaccessible deserts, now has the world's largest green energy plant... The target is to create 30 GW clean energy capacity in Khavda in the next five years..."

Gautam Adani said, "The Khavda project will generate so much energy that it will be able to supply the entire energy to countries like Belgium and Switzerland..."

Regarding the group's flagship company Adani Enterprises, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary of listing, he said, "The year 2024 proved to be an important milestone for Adani Enterprises ... Our foundation is built on three core values - courage, conviction and commitment to purpose... The true measure of success is the ability to stand firm in the face of adversity, and I have learned my lesson from my mother... I grew up in the harsh deserts of Banaskantha and learned the value of perseverance..."

At the Annual General Meeting, Group Chairman Gautam Adani also informed the shareholders about the group's future plans, and also told about the financial position of the companies. This was the 32nd AGM of Adani Enterprises, and Monday is the chairman's 62nd birthday.
