The path to peace is visible in the war that has been going on for almost one and a half months between Israel and Hamas. In fact, for the first time, 24 Israeli hostages have been released from Gaza occupied by Palestinians.

The terrorist organization has sent the hostages back to Israel after a deal with Israel. However, in return, 39 prisoners lodged in Israeli jails have been released. The bloody conflict between Israel and Hamas is going on since October 6.

According to a statement from the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his government would work to secure the release of more than 200 hostages held by Hamas since the October 7 attacks on Israel.

After Hamas released the first batch of Israeli hostages, Netanyahu said the nation is committed to the return of all hostages from Gaza as this is "one of the objectives of the war."

In a video message posted on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Netanyahu said, "We have just completed the return of the first of our hostages: children, their mothers and additional women, each of them one It's the whole world."

Reiterating Israel's commitment to the hostage agreement, he added, "But I emphasize to you, to the families, to you civilians, this is one of the objectives of the war and we are committed to achieving it." The goal of war is to return all hostages." As part of the hostage deal between Israel and Hamas, the first group of Israeli hostages were handed over to International Committee for the Red Cross staff.

An Israeli official said that 13 Israeli hostages were being transported in an ambulance from Khan Yunis in southern Gaza towards the Rafah crossing towards Israel. The release of the 13 hostages, who are mothers and children, is the first of four expected steps. Specifically, Hamas has agreed to release about 50 hostages, including women and children, during the four-day ceasefire with Israel.
