Two trains collide in Italy; 20 people killed, over 30 injured

Rome: Two trains collided head-on in Puglia between Andria and Corato towns in Italy leaving behind at least 20 people dead. Over 30 people are also injured who have been rushed to the nearby hospitals, as per reports.

The accident occurred when two trains came on a single track.

Rescue operations are underway to pull out the victims from the rubble. Ambulances have reached the spot and are giving medical aids to people with minor injuries.

Prime Minister Matteo Renzi described the accident as "dramatic".
