Situation out of control in Brazil, Over 19 Corona variant reported so far

Mumbai: The risk of corona virus infection is increasing continuously in Brazil. Meanwhile, Brazilian scientists have given a shocking information. According to Brazilian scientists, at least 19 variants of the coronavirus have been identified in the Brazilian state of So Paulo. Brazil's Biological Research Center, Institut Butanton gave this information in a statement.

Over 19 corona variant in Brazil:

There are 19 coronavirus variants circulating in the state of So Paulo, with the P.1 (Amazon) strain accounting for 89.9 percent of cases, the statement said. Next comes strain B.1.1.7 (UK variant), which accounts for 4.2 percent of corona cases. The state of Sao Paulo, the most populous state of Brazil, has a population of 46 million people and the country's highest number of corona cases have been found here.

Vaccination program in Brazil:

Meanwhile, the first consignment of Russia's Sputnik V covid vaccine may reach Brazil in early July. Camilo Santana, the Governor of Serra State of Brazil, informed that there was a meeting between the representatives of the Russian Direct Investment Fund related to the Sputnik V vaccine and the governors of the North-East (Brazil). The fund confirmed the delivery of the first batch of the vaccine in early July and the vaccine delivery schedule will be ready by the end of this month.

Concern over Delta Variant:

The Center for Disease and Prevention Center (CDC) of America has expressed concern about the Delta variant of Corona. This variant is more lethal and contagious. According to the CDC, it spreads fifty percent faster than the alpha variant. With this variant, the number of people admitted to the hospital increases by about two and a half times. President Joe Biden has warned that the fight against Corona is not over yet.
