Ukraine Under Siege: Ongoing Missile Strikes and Global Responses

Russia Ukraine War: Now 24 days have passed since the war between Russia and Ukraine. President Vladimir Putin arrived in the capital Moscow on Friday night to attend a rally organized by supporters of the war. Moscow police said more than two million people were present in and around Luzhniki Stadium. The rally was held to mark the eighth anniversary of Russia's occupation of the Crimean peninsula, annexed from Ukraine. Meanwhile, Russia has intensified its attacks on Ukraine. Ukrainian news The Kyiv Independent reported that 228 people, including four children, have been killed since Russia's all-out offensive in Kyiv.

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky has released a video address shortly before. An excerpt from that video is being broadcast by Ukrainian media. Zelensky said in his address that "the 24th day of the Russian invasion of Ukraine is over. After eight years of aggression, Ukrainians have proved that they know what they know for decades in different regions and under different circumstances." How to fight in a more professional way than the army that fought the U.S.? We are responding with intelligence and courage to the large numbers of their equipment and the troops sent to Ukraine."

The most recent intelligence update from Britain's Defense Ministry said Russia still failed to gain control of Ukrainian airspace, one of its main objectives. "Their continued failure to do so has significantly impacted their operational progress," the statement said.

A Russian diplomat has made vague remarks on Bosnian TV about Russia's plans to confront NATO, the Kyiv Independent reported. "We have a plan against NATO," the Russian diplomat said. Russian Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Igor Kalabukhov said in an interview with Bosnia's Face TV that Moscow is "assessing the geo-strategic situation" and will respond to threats soon.
