New Delhi: The Ukrainian government has banned all Ukrainian men between the ages of 18 and 60 from leaving the country due to Russian aggression. The ban will remain in force for the duration of the martial law.

According to Ukraine's Border Guard Service (DPSA), these restrictions have been imposed so that all men are available to defend the country. Specifically, male citizens of Ukraine aged between 18 and 60 are prohibited from leaving Ukraine. Such a rule shall be applicable for the period of martial law.

Man aged 18-60 can't leave Ukraine:

The imposition of martial law means that military officers and soldiers, rather than civilian leaders, are in charge of deciding and enforcing the nation's laws. Anyone caught in violation of martial law could face military tribunals. President calls on Ukrainian citizens ready to fight While the country's Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov has called on everyone with a Ukrainian passport to enlist in the army.

He said that the enemy is attacking, but our army is invincible. Ukraine is going into a full-fledged defense mode. The defensive capabilities of the Ukrainian army against the Russian invaders are now beginning to come to the fore.

Many Ukrainians living abroad are returning to Ukraine to fight for their country. About 300,000 ex-servicemen have also taken an oath to continue fighting in the Donbass. Many foreign nationals, including Indian youth living in Ukraine, have also joined the defense forces.

Much Improvement in the Ukrainian Army The Ukrainian military has improved greatly after nearly eight years of war that took the lives of more than 13,000 people. Western countries have also strengthened the Ukrainian army with weapons and training. As of 2014 the Ukrainian army was only on paper, and did not have fighting capabilities. But now the situation has flared up.
