New Delhi: Senior members of the royal family, who will attend Prince Philip's funeral on Saturday, April 17, will not be seen in uniforms but in normal clothing.

Prince Philip Funeral:

This decision by Queen Elizabeth II means that Prince Harry, the only member of the royal family, will not be questioned, who will attend his grandfather's last visit without a uniform.

Last week, 99-year-old Prince Philip died. Members of the royal family always appear in uniform at public events in their honorary military roles with the British Army, Royal Navy and Royal Airforce. But Harry lost his honorary military title and relinquished frontline royal duty last year.

Royal Navy, Marines will join the ceremony:

Members of the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Royal Airforce and British Army have decided to join the final voyage. This last visit of Philip will be taken from St. George's Chapel on the Land Rover. For this, on Wednesday, military personnel rehearsed at the Army Training Center in Pirbright, London.

Queen Elizabeth of Britain sadly announced the death of husband and Duke of Edinburgh Prince Philip. Prince was 99 years old. Prince Philip returned to Windsor Castle in early March after a month in hospital. He was treated for heart disease at St Bartholomeo's Hospital in London.
