President Mukherjee leaves for four-day tour to China

New Delhi: President Pranab Mukherjee has left for China this morning on a four day visit.

The President is likely to exchange views on all aspects of India’s ties with the counterparts.

Mukherjee will go Guangzhou which is one of the most important Industrial Provinces of China in the first stage of his visit.

He is also expected to participate in an Indian community event this evening.

Mukherjee will reach Beijing on Wednesday and talk with the top leaders of China including his counterpart Xi Jinping on many issues, in the second leg of his visit.

A delegation of top Indians academicians including Vice Chancellors of Central Universities and Directors of IITs are accompanying the president on this tour.
