6.9 magnitude earthquake hits coast of Northern California

Two mild earthquakes jolt Himachal Pradesh

California: An earthquake measuring 6.9 magnitude on Richter scale hit off the coast of Northern California on Thursday.

The earthquake was centered 104 miles off the coast of Ferndale, California, according to USGS.

So far, no reports of any damage have been reported.

A lower magnitude quake was observed in the same general area earlier this week.
