Islamabad: Following India’s pressure of isolating Pakistan globally, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has directed Pak Army to take some strict actions against terrorists and stop shielding them.

As per the Pakistani daily Dawn, Nawaz Sharif directed authorities to conclude the Pathankot terror attack probe and the 2008 Mumbai attack trial.

The directions are given in a secret meeting on Tuesday.

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Office spokesman, however, denied the newspaper reports.

“The spokesman has termed the contents of the story not only speculative but misleading and factually incorrect. It is an amalgamation of fiction and half truths which too are invariably reported out of context,” an official statement said.

“The fact that the report itself states that none of the attributed statements were confirmed by the individuals mentioned in the story, clearly makes it an example of irresponsible reporting,” it said.

It could be mentioned here that after India’s departure, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan had also made its SAARC boycott decision known. SAARC was scheduled to take place here.
