NASA re-establishes contact with its long lost spacecraft

Washington: After nearly two years of silence, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has announced to have recovered its long lost spacecraft.

“We have re-established contact with STEREO-B which went missing in October 2014,” said NASA in a statement on Sunday.

It may be mentioned that the administration had lost contact with the spacecraft while testing one of its timers. Moreover, STEREO-B works in tandem with another spacecraft STEREO-A to study the sun.
