The prime minister said that India condemned terrorism in every form and stood strongly with Israel at this time.

India condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations." "Strongly and unequivocally condemns such expressions."

‘’I thank Prime Minister @netanyahu for his phone call and providing an update on the ongoing situation. People of India stand firmly with Israel in this difficult hour. India strongly and unequivocally condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations’’, he posted on X.

Earlier, former Prime Minister of Israel and current Leader of Opposition Yair Lapid had expressed his gratitude to India for showing support towards his country. Hamas, the Palestinian extremist group ruling Gaza, launched a sudden and unprecedented attack on southern parts of Israel on Saturday morning. After this, Israel also retaliated by carrying out several air strikes on the Gaza Strip.

Lapid said, "The most important thing is that we stop Hamas from growing and ensure that it does not stop the attacks on women, children and the elderly." The Prime Minister (Benjamin Netanyahu) has said that it is going to be very difficult and we will have to be patient." He said, "I want to express my gratitude to Prime Minister (Narendra) Modi and his government for showing support towards Israel."
