Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, is known for its glitter and luxury lifestyle, but do you know that there is one more thing related to Bangkok which makes it unique. Bangkok claims the name of the longest city in the world. Recently, this name caught people's attention through a viral video. You will also be shocked to hear the full name of Bangkok. This is not just a name but a complete sentence or rather a poem.

According to the viral video, the full name of Bangkok is, "Krung Thep Mahanakhon Amon Rattanakosin Mahinthara Ayutthaya Mahadilok Phop Noppharat Ratchathani Burirom Udomratchanivet Mahasathan Amon Piman Avatan Sathit Sakkathattiya Vitsanukam Prasit.

The name sounds like a poem. It translates to "City of Angels, "Great City of the Immortals, Magnificent City". The full name holds historical and cultural significance.

A recent video, in which a tour guide in a moving bus full of tourists tells them the full name of the city, has gone viral on social media. The video was shared by Wowie Jane Demre on Instagram with a caption that read, "The full name of Bangkok has been recognized by the Guinness World Records as the longest name of a place."

Bangkok is a large city known for ornate shrines and vibrant street life. The boat-filled Chao Phraya River feeds its network of canals, flowing past the Rattanakosin royal district, home to opulent Grand Palace and its sacred Wat Phra Kaew Temple. Nearby is Wat Pho Temple with an enormous reclining Buddha and, on the opposite shore, Wat Arun Temple with its steep steps and Khmer-style spire.
