Israeli army kills Hamas' Nakba unit commander involved in October 7 attacks

Acting on the inputs from the Intelligence Division, the Israeli Army killed several terrorists of Hamas's Nakba Unit in Gaza, who were involved in October 7 attack on Israel.

Israeli Defense Force (IDF) has given this information. The IDF said the terrorists killed included Ahmed Musa, commander of the Nakba unit, and Omar Alhandi, commander of a terrorist platoon based in western Jabaliya.

At the same time, the IDF Reserve of the 252nd Division attacked 19 Hamas terrorists overnight, who were preparing to attack its forces. Additionally, fighters from the 401st Armored Brigade Combat Reconnaissance Unit discovered a container containing approximately 20 rocket launchers on the beach and destroyed it.

Hamas is hiding weapons and rockets among civilians. Israeli forces found a rocket launcher near residential buildings during a brigade-level attack by paratroopers in the Sheikh Ezalin neighborhood. All weapons found during this period were destroyed or confiscated by IDF forces.

Meanwhile as the anger among the Arab nations against Israeli action in Gaza rises, Israel’s staunch ally, the USA has intensified diplomacy to garner support for the Israeli action as well as persuade Israelis to agree to a humanitarian pause in the ongoing war.

According to the media reports Israel has agreed to a four hour daily humanitarian pause in its attacks on Gaza.

More than 11,000 Palestinian civilians have died in Hamas-ruled Gaza in the Israel-Hamas war. The Health Ministry gave this information. The ministry said on Friday that 11,078 people have been killed since the war began after Hamas's sudden attack on Israel on October 7.

More than 1,400 people have been killed in Israel, mainly in the initial attack by Hamas, while 41 Israeli soldiers have been killed in Gaza since the beginning of the ground offensive.
