In an indication that Israel may soon launch full scale ground offensive against Hamas in Gaza strip, the Israeli forces conducted localised ground operations in Gaza on Friday night to destroy Hamas positions.

According to the reports, the Israeli army crossed the border and entered Gaza with tanks. The Israeli army has said that it has entered Gaza to free its hostages.

At the same time, 70 people leaving Gaza died in the Israeli bombardment overnight. Earlier, Israel had given an ultimatum to 11 lakh people from northern cities of Gaza to move to southern Gaza.

Meanwhile under the Operation Ajay of the Government of India, the second batch of Indians from Tel Aviv, Israel has reached Delhi this morning. The flight departed late on Friday night with 235 people. India's External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar had posted pictures of them boarding the flight on social media.

447 people stranded in Israel have been rescued so far. On Friday morning, 212 people had reached Delhi Airport by Air India flight, the post said.

A videographer of news agency Reuters was killed in an Israeli attack in southern Lebanon. His name has been stated as Isam Abdullah. Reuters also issued a statement. It was told that Isam along with his team was sending live video signals from South Lebanon. He died during this time. Six more journalists, including two journalists from the same team, Taher Al Sudani and Mehr Najeh, were injured.

Meanwhile Hamas fired about 250 rockets at Tel Aviv on Friday. After this some bomb blasts also took place. Seeing the danger, the Israeli Army sounded a siren alert so that people went to safe places. During this time, the sound of firing kept coming intermittently.

Some houses in the Rehovot area of central Israel were hit by rocket attacks. However, there is no report of any civilian being harmed. The Israeli army has prepared a new ambulance network. In this, separate ambulances have been kept for common citizens and soldiers.
