Israel – The Israel-Hamas conflict enters its 22nd day today, October 28. Israel has escalated its attacks on Gaza, with a significant increase in the pace of airstrikes, including a heavy bombardment on Friday night. The recent assault was so severe that it resulted in a complete shutdown of mobile and internet services in Gaza, affecting nearly 2.3 million Palestinian residents.

Casualties continue to rise, with over 8,500 people, including approximately 3,000 children, reported as casualties in the ongoing conflict. Israel faces allegations of using dangerous weaponry consistently throughout the war. Hamas accuses Israel of deploying white phosphorus bombs, while Friday night's fresh attacks claimed the lives of over 100 Palestinian civilians.

Israel has initiated both aerial and ground operations in response to the conflict, with the Israeli Defense Forces reportedly preparing for a ground operation in Gaza. The situation has raised concerns internationally, with neighboring Jordan expressing worry that it could lead to a major humanitarian crisis in the coming years.

Hamas intensifies efforts to resist Israel, seeking support from global leaders during visits by its leaders, including a tour by Hamas leader Rous and other representatives. Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu insists that the operation will conclude only after neutralizing Hamas. Netanyahu accuses Hamas of turning Gaza's hospitals and civilian locations into their bases.

A proposal to halt the Israel-Hamas conflict was passed in the United Nations early Saturday morning, with 120 countries in favor and 14 against. However, 45 nations, including India, abstained from voting. India has condemned Israel's aggressive actions since the beginning of the conflict but is also providing humanitarian aid to Gaza.
