Baghdad: ISIS chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was poisoned during a lunchtime meal leading him fall seriously ill.

The incident took place in Be’aj of Iraq where Baghdadi along with three commanders was taking his meal. All four fall ill suffering severe poisoning.

“Baghdadi along with other three commanders was transferred to an unknown location under strict measures,” said media reports.

Earlier, there were reports regarding his encounter killing in the US-led coalition air strikes but it turned false.

Born in 1971, Baghdadi’s real name is Ibrahim Awad Ibrahim.
