Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps said that it has launched dozens of drones and missiles on Israel on Saturday. After this step, the tension between the two arch enemy countries has reached its peak. Meanwhile, America has said that it will support Israel. Israel's army has said that the drones launched by Iran will reach their target within a few hours. Iraqi security sources said they were seen flying over their country from Iran.

Israeli News Channel 12 has claimed that the missiles launched by Iran will probably attack soon but some missiles and drones have been shot down over Syria or Jordan.

The Israeli Defense Forces said, "Iran launched drones from within its territory towards Israel some time ago. The IDF is on high alert and is continuously monitoring the operational situation. Along with IAF fighter jets and Israeli Navy ships "IDF aerial defense is on high alert."

An IDF spokesperson said, “The IDF, along with our allies, is working with full force to protect Israel and the Israeli people. This is a mission which we are committed and ready to fulfil."

Iran has vowed to retaliate for the Israeli attack on its Damascus consulate on April 1, which killed seven Guards officers, including two senior commanders. Israel has neither confirmed nor denied responsibility for the attack on the consulate.

The White House said that US President Joe Biden on Friday had warned Iran against attacking Israel and said that Iran could attack at any time.

A retired Israeli general, Amos Yadlin, told the country's Channel 12 News that Iranian drones are equipped with 20 kilograms of explosives each.

Israel's neighbor Jordan said that they are closing their airspace. Jordan has also declared a state of emergency.

Iran's ally Syria said it was putting its surface-to-air defense systems on high alert around the capital and key targets, military sources said.
