Social media platforms were agog with rumours on Monday that India’s most wanted terrorist and Mumbai terror attack mastermind Dawood Ibrahim had been poisoned and was admitted to a hospital in Pakistan in a critical condition.

Although there was no official confirmation, media reports said that Dawood had been admitted to a big hospital in Karachi city of Pakistan. However, this has not been confirmed yet nor has any information been revealed as to who poisoned India's enemy.

According to a report, the National Investigation Agency had received information about Haseena Parkar's son Dawood being in Karachi.

Incidentally this is not the first time that news related to speculations about poisoning of Dawood Ibrahim is going viral on social media. Even before this, such news has gone viral many times. But this time, speculations about the motives behind the alleged poisoning range from internal power struggles to external pressure on Pakistan to take action against individuals involved in anti-India activities. Earlier, many wanted terrorists including Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Adnan Ahmed alias Abu Hanjala have been killed in Pakistan.

D-Company leader and most wanted terrorist Dawood Ibrahim is a fugitive from India. He is considered the mastermind of the 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts. More than 250 people lost their lives in the serial threats in Mumbai? Thousands of people were also injured in this incident. After this incident he was declared a wanted terrorist of India.

According to sources, underworld don Dawood Ibrahim has taken shelter in Pakistan. India has also presented evidence of this many times. However, Pakistan has been continuously denying his presence in the country.
