The Indian Navy has rescued Iranian fishing vessel "Al-Kambar" and 23 Pakistani nationals serving as its crew members who were held "hostage" in the Arabian Sea for a 12-hour anti-piracy operation. Rescued after a long campaign. The officers provided this information. According to an official statement issued by the Navy spokesperson, expert teams of the Indian Navy are thoroughly examining the fishing vessel so that it can be taken to a safe area to resume fishing operations.

"The Indian Navy is committed to ensuring maritime security and safety of sailors in the region," the statement said.

The Indian Navy said late on Friday evening that it was engaged in an operation to rescue a hijacked fishing vessel which was allegedly boarded by nine armed pirates and its crew.

The Navy said the ship was stopped on Thursday. It said, "INS Sumedha intercepted FV 'Al Qanmar 786' in the early hours of Friday and was later joined by INS Trishul..."
